Local Time API Example

The True Knowledge API allows you to find the current local time anywhere in the world. You can also calculate the local time at a specified UTC timepoint, which can be specified in natural language. There is no need as an API user to determine the timezone of the area and calculate the local time in separate steps.

True Knowledge aims to provide the most complete and accurate information on local time available, and as a consequence relies on Daylight Saving Time information. For times a long way into the future or past such information is often unavailable, in which case the knowledge base will return "unknown" rather than risking giving inaccurate answers.

If you choose to specify a timepoint, you can use any natural language expression of the date and time, for example:
