Is Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, the second President of Russia and is the current Prime Minister of Russia as well as chairman of United Russia and Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Union of Russia and Belarus Christian, being a member of or pertaining to the Christian religion?

Yes - he had a religious awakening in 1993 after his wife was in a serious car crash. His mother (who was devoutly orthodox) had him baptised secretly as a baby. Before he visited Isreal, his mother gave him his baptismal cross, and told him to get it blessed - which he did, and he has worn it round his neck ever since.

He has also met the Pope, representing the Orthodox Church, with the intention of the orthodox and catholic "heads of state" working together to promote christian morals back into everyday life and thinking, especially in western Europe.
