I ran into Matt Damon on the beach in Santa Monica, he was just heading into the water as I was getting out. He stopped me to ask if the water was ok. He seemed a nice guy, we were both barefoot, and he was at least 2 inches shorter than me, I'm 5'11". I'd say Matt Damon is a solid 5'8" give or take a half inch.
