Hans Christian Andersen

Hans Christian Andersen was born in Odense on April 2nd 1805. He wrote The Steadfast Tin Soldier, The Little Mermaid, The Ugly Duckling and The Little Match Girl, among other things. He had occupations including writer, artist, author, musician, novelist, poet, children's writer and screenwriter. He died in Copenhagen in August 1875 aged 70 years and 4 months old.
