Joe Strummer

Joe Strummer was born in Ankara on August 21st 1952. He wrote London Calling, White Riot, Stupid Girl and in Hammersmith Palais, among other things. He starred in Walker, Straight to Hell, Westway to the World and Mystery Train, among others. He composed London Calling, Should I Stay or Should I Go, Paper Planes and Rudie Can't Fail, among other works. His albums include Streetcore, Earthquake Weather, Global a Go-Go and Island Hopping. He had occupations including musician, actor, songwriter, guitarist, opera singer and singer. He died in Broomfield, Somerset, England in 2002 aged 49 or 50 years old. The cause of his death was cardiovascular disease.
