The African Enterprises 2012 Diary states the present population to be 33,8 million.
All these figures, (estimates?), would seem to be of some significance to world growth statistics if we are to accept that fact that in the year 1972, 'General' Amin, having to come to power in that Country the year before, announced that the population had just reached the figure of 10 million. This, he claimed, meant that
"Uganda had just become a Nation", Since then many thousands, if not millions, are known to have died of AIDS, & sadly still continue to do so.
