Rasputin did not die from gun shots, he was shot many times but did not die as a result. He died from being thrown into a lake/river, he did not die or drowning he died of something else.

he drank poisoned wine but he still didn't die so he was shot several times but not killed from that but then he was caught and thrown in an icy river and when they took him out later its not from not enough air its that his lungs were filled with water
